On Sunday morning in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, dogs attacked a crocodile that had come out of a pond and was on the road. To escape from the dogs, the crocodile entered a toilet outside a house. This terrified the family. The forest department team reached there and caught the crocodile and released it in the Chambal river.

The incident is of Gumansingh Pura village of Kheda Rathore in Bah area. On Sunday morning, a crocodile came out of the pond on the ravine side of the village and came towards the settlement. Seeing the crocodile entering the settlement, the dogs attacked it. Villagers said that the dogs were repeatedly trying to catch the tail of the crocodile.
Seeing its life in danger, the crocodile entered the toilet outside Mukut Singh’s house in the village. Terrified by the crocodile entering the toilet, the family closed the door from outside. On receiving the information, the forest department team reached the spot. After about 1 hour of hard work, the crocodile could be caught. Only then did people get some relief.
Ranger Uday Pratap Singh said that the age of the six feet long crocodile would be around eight years. The crocodile has been left safely at the Nandgaon Ghat of Chambal River.
Last year, I set a trap but couldn’t catch it
Last year, a crocodile entered the pond of Guman Singh Pura through the ravines from the Chambal river. The forest department had set up a trap to catch the crocodile, but even after three days of searching, it could not be caught.
